Jessica Ng can usually be found behind the mic at CBC Edmonton, hosting the afternoon drive show, Radio Active. Her first loves, though, are music and singing! She studied Jazz Vocal at York University, where she sang with WIBI A Cappella. After completing her MMus in Contemporary Voice at Berklee College of Music in Spain, she gigged and taught college voice. Jessica is super happy to have found a vocal “home” in Edmonton with High Street Sound.

Jessica Bulger is an avid ensemble singer, most recently with Òran and Nuf Sed as well as High Street Sound. She has experience in pretty much every genre out there, and loves it all. An Augustana grad, Jessica brings a unique mezzo timbre and a lot of laughs to the group.

Laura Forster has sang in many alto sections in addition to High Street Sound, of which she is a founding member. Her arrangements for the group display her passion for the unconventional, as well as her interest in extended vocal techniques. Laura studies voice with Kim Denis.

Joshua Hanneson can often be spotted juggling or riding his unicycle around Edmonton. He is the primary vocal percussionist and occasional baritone in High Street Sound. He also plays trumpet in the Edmonton Beer League Jazz Band.

Bryan LeGrow works primarily as a collaborative pianist, but formed High Street Sound as an opportunity to sing more; later, the ensemble would become a vehicle for his original songs and arrangements. A warm, mellow baritone, Bryan studied composition at MacEwan and the University of Alberta.

Jo has sung bass in various groups in Edmonton and met some of the High Street Sound members through those experiences. He likes a variety of music genres and he loves singing!
