Grant loves all kind of music and take influences out of almost every genre, from drum and bass, metal, to country, and classical.
Although born and raised in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, a big part of Grant’s heart lives in Penticton, B.C.
In Grade 4, he arranged a rendition of Pachelbel’s Canon in D Major for mallet percussion instruments for his elementary music class.
He performed with The Blush Connection, the predecessor of Signal Sounds, at Urban Lounge and many venues around Edmonton, including the Alberta Legislature in front of 5000 protesters! Check out their album on bandcamp.com!
His inspirations includes Buddy Rich, Travis Barker, Danny Carey, Eklips, and Felix Zenger. He especially loves the track “Shit Catapult”.
Grant is very excited to be laying down beats with tasteful fills, lingering cymbals crashes and swells, and complex rhythms with High Street Sound.
